I am a political scientist whose research focuses on electoral systems, corruption/accountability, the relationship between money and politics, and political development in the U.S., Britain, and France. I also have an interest in research methodology.

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Oxford and a Professorial Fellow of Nuffield College. From 2011 to 2014 I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Government at the London School of Economics. During academic year 2010-2011 I was a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Leitner Program at Yale.

I received my PhD in 2010 from Harvard, where I worked and studied with Gary King, Jim Snyder, Kevin Quinn, Jeff Frieden, Ken Shepsle, and Jim Robinson, among others.

My CV (updated February, 2015) is here.
