I am a political scientist whose research focuses on electoral systems, corruption/accountability, the relationship between money and politics, and political development in the U.S., Britain, and France. I also have an interest in research methodology.

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Government at the London School of Economics. During academic year 2010-2011 I was a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Leitner Program at Yale.

I received my PhD in 2010 from Harvard, where I worked and studied with Gary King, Jim Snyder, Kevin Quinn, Jeff Frieden, Ken Shepsle, and Jim Robinson, among others. My current coauthors include Jim Snyder, Jens Hainmueller and Arthur Spirling.

My CV (updated March, 2014) is here.

I can be contacted at aeggers [at] gmail.com.
